Sanjay Leela Bhansali Finds Hrithik In Amitabh Bachchan’s League

We all know that Hrithik Roshan used to stammer in his childhood. But now the actor is said to have erased the problem with regular speech practice and determination. So much that he impressed Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is usually not liberal in his appreciation.
During the shoot of Bhansali’s Guzaarish, Hrithik had to do an intense scene where he had to give out a five-and-a-half minute-long monologue. The filmmaker had planned to break down the scene into three parts to make it easy for the actor. Surprisingly, Hrithik continued with his long dialogue before the director could say cut. Bhansali was immensely amazed with the actor and applauded him for his performance.
Not knowing what to say, Bhansali said to Hrithik, “You are in Bachchan’s league.” The green-eyed actor who was already feeling elated, felt on top of the world after hearing such prestigious compliment from this fine filmmaker.

Aamir Khan Is Sorry To Shahrukh’s Kids

It is observed that King Khan Shah Rukh Khan has buried the hatchet with Aamir Khan ever since the “Ghajini” star apologised to his children for making fun of him. Shah Rukh said he has no hard feelings for his colleague.
“We often visit each other’s home and we have love and respect for each other. I don’t think there was any need for him to apologise because it is not really a big thing for me. Both of us don’t take these things seriously but it is the media that exaggerates the whole situation,” Shah Rukh said.
Aamir tendered an apology to Shah Rukh’s kids for hurting their sentiments before taking a pot shot at the latter when he mentioned his wife Kiran in an answer to a reporter as “Kkk… Kiran” - a dialogue made famous by Shah Rukh in his 1993 hit “Darr”.
“I’ve offered my heartfelt apologies to Shah Rukh’s kids, not to Shah Rukh but to his kids,” Aamir had recently said.

Akshay Kumar’s Connection With Director Anees Bazmi

Director Anees Bazmi is all set to move on to his next two projects ‘Hera Pheri Part 4’ and ‘Thank You’ both with Akshay Kumar in the lead.
While ‘Hera Pheri Part 4’ celebrates the return of the characters conceived by Priyadarshan with the Big B added into the comic brew to make the concoction spicy; ‘Thank You’ which brings Akshay back together with his hit heroine Katrina Kaif is supposed to be Anees Bazmi’s most intense romantic film to date.
Even though Anees is keen on getting into the romantic mode apparently Anees’s leading man Akshay is eager on doing a comedy. Says Anees, “Comedy is what sells these days. To make people laugh is a blessing and I’ve done it repeatedly without resorting to vulgarity. The script is ready. And this time apart from the regular ‘Hera Pheri’ cast of Akshay, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal I’ve also written a special role for Amitji who plays the catalyst in this comedy. It’s every director’s dream to work with Amitji and I’m no exception.”
Having said this however, Anees doesn’t want to get stereotyped as a comedy maker, “I’ve been in the business of writing and directing for more than 30 years. Apart from comedies I’ve done some really romantic films like ‘Pyar To Hona Hi Tha’ and ‘It’s My Life’ which is ready for release. Produced by UTV ‘Thank You’ is my most romantic subject to date which brings Akshay and Katrina together again.”

Hrithik & Rakesh Roshan - The Power Of Home Production

After agreeing to work together for a film, the director Imtiaz Ali and the actor Hrithik Roshan have now fallen apart over trivial differences thereby spelling bad news for all fans, who were eagerly waiting to watch their magic onscreen.
And if reports are to be believed, it’s all papa Rakesh Roshan’s doing. As per sources, Eros had got Hrithik and Imtiaz Ali on board for a flick. The project was to be jointly produced by Rakesh Roshan.
All was well till the time Imtiaz read the script to the father-son duo - Hrithik and Rakesh. Though Hrithik was more or less in sync with the script, Rakesh Roshan had major inhibitions about his son’s character in the flick. Using his co-producer role as a trump card, Rakesh asked Imtiaz to make many changes in the film, which did not go well with the director.
Taking offence at Rakesh’s constant meddling, Imtiaz decided to snap out of the project. Well, with Imtiaz and Hrithik on an ego ride, it’s the fans who are at a clear loss.

Ranbir Kapoor & The Power Of 12 Crores

The latest heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is climbing the price ladder very rapidly. On looking at his popularity, producers are ready to sign him at any cost. He is hardly four films old and he has been holding the price tag of 12 crores. Director Imtiaz Ali has signed Ranbir for a whopping amount of 12 crores.
An industry source notes, “Ranbir is already in the Top Ten bracket. He is outdoing himself with every new film  and his fan base is increasing with every passing day”. He was paid 50 lakhs for ‘Saawariya’ and 5 crores for “Bachna Ae Haseeno“. For the new film, ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, Ranbir Kapoor has been paid Rs 8 crore.
His recent two releases, ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’, did a roaring business all over. “Now Kapoor has signed Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision’s next to be directed by Imtiaz Ali for Rs 12 crores.
Ranbir has wanted to work with Imtiaz and would’ve readily signed the film for a far lesser amount. But he is being offered big money, so why should be refuse?,” asked a trade pundit.

Anushka Sharma’s Newly Purchased Home

The debutant actress of ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’    Anushka Sharma can’t stop gushing about the three-bedroom apartment at Andheri’s Yari Road that she bought recently. While she bought it about a month ago and even moved there, she couldn’t spend too much time at home, because of her having to travel to the US for 40 days for her shooting.
Anushka, who shifted to Mumbai from Bangalore about two years ago, had been living at the army colony in Malad. She had been looking for a house for quite a while and finally settled on this one. This being the first ever house she has bought, she’s naturally very excited about it.
She feels great about being able to buy a house at the age of 21. But she hardly gets to be home and hasn’t had the time to enjoy it yet as she had to go to Bangkok for a month, just a little after her US tour, and is still there.

The Katrina Factor In Akshay’s Career

It is said that ‘Behind every successful man there’s a woman’. Looks like the same holds true for our superstar Akshay Kumar. However in his case, it’s his co-star Katrina Kaif, who time and again is proving to be lucky for him and this time literally!

According to reliable sources, after her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone has got close to another co-star. This time the name happens to be that of director turned actor Farhan Akhtar. Sources say that the two have got really close during the making of the film KARTHIK CALLING KARTHIK.
Our source adds, “Deepika’s break-up with Ranbir happened while KARTHIK CALLING KARTHIK was still being made. Since Farhan is her co-star, the two really bonded well to the extent that it seems Farhan is the special person in Deepika’s life.”
Well, though the actors haven’t been spotted together, we wonder whether the two stars will accept or deny this new development.

Aishwarya Finds A Good Father Within Abhishek

“Everybody has been asking me if Abhishek will be a good paa (father) in connection with the release of our forthcoming production Paa. I think it’s silly for me to be even making the statement. It’s given - I married the man. So obviously I have the conviction in the husband he is or the father he will be,” said Aishwarya.
Asked about Abhishek’s qualities that would make him a good father, Aishwarya laughed and said, “He is very real, very rooted and very human - which I absolutely relate to. His values are evident for everybody to see. We have known each other for so many years.
“I’ve seen him with his niece and nephew since the time they were babies. He is so great with kids and I’ve seen that for the longest time with (his sister Shweta’s children) Navya (Naveli) and Agastya. I have no doubts on him whatsoever.”
Aishwarya, who will be seen with Abhishek in Ravana, was in New Delhi on Monday to launch the Longines PrimaLuna, a new watch range inspired by the moon and galaxy.
