Sonakshi Sinha Has Nothing To Do With Ranveer Singh

Actress Sonakshi Sinha has denied the reports of dating Ranveer Singh, her co-star in the film LOOTERA. A mainstream newspaper carried a news story stating that the actress is dating Ranveer Singh. Sonakshi rubbished the news by mentioning that she is not dating anyone.

Sonakshi posted on a micro-blogging site saying, ”I know it makes a good sensational copy to link co-stars and makes for great gossip, but I just want to confirm that I am not dating or in a romantic relationship with anyone.”

Sonakshi even mentioned her hatred for Valentine’s Day. She tweeted, ”Oh ya – AND sorry to burst your bubble but I absolutely loathe Valentine’s Day, so for me to fuss around it, would be most unlikely!”

Ranveer Singh Takes On With Yash Raj

FilmsAfter a dream debut with Band Baaja Baaraat, little did Ranveer Singh anticipate that his second film with Yashraj would do nothing for him. Probably why the actor who has been much sought after by most producers did not think twice before moving onto to greener pastures.

He has now bagged two big-budget films including Lootera and Magadheera with other production houses, without really keeping his three-film contract with Yashraj. Says a source, “Ranveer has been wanting to do a big-budget film for a while now and has been hinting the same to Yashraj as well.

He got a little tired of waiting, plus he had some very lucrative offers come his way. Letting go of them wouldn’t have been worth it, since Yashraj does not have a concrete plan for his third film yet. Plus most of the ideas were for small-budgeted ventures.”

Buzz is that ever since Ladies vs Ricky Bahl tanked at the box office, things haven’t been too well between the actor and the production house. Adds the source, “He shares a great relationship with them. They launched him and nothing can change that. But he has to look at what is good for him in the future.” 

Ranveer & Anushka : The Chemistry Continues With Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl

LADIES V/S RICKY BAHL is up for release and yet again the world is interested in knowing if Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma are seeing each other. While the man ofthe moment continues to be amused with the immense interestshown by many from within as well as outside the industry about theirreal life pairing, Ranveer gone onrecord for the umpteenth time to declare that he and Anushka stay on to be great friends.

”In fact I can say on record that she is my closest friend in theindustry. She is the one who I canclaim to be belonging to my inner circle,’ declares Ranveer ‘As for us meeting frequently then well, both of us have a very busy life and hence hang out as and when we get a chance. Most of that in fact happens when we are working together, just as it happened in case of LADIES V/S RICKY BAHL where we spent quite some time with each other.”

While that happened in the Goa schedule of this Maneesh Sharma directed film where the episode featuring Ranveer and Anushka is set, the young man who plays the title role of ‘Ricky Bahl’ is also happy to talk about his experience of shooting with Aditi Sharma, Dipannita Sharma and Parineeti Chopra in Lucknow, Mumbai and Delhi respectively.

”It is always nice to work with new girls,’ Ranveer gives a mischievous smile here, ‘Amongst the three of them, Parineeti is someone who is totally new and has a very fresh energy to her. She wanted to do so many things at the same time and the kind of energy she brought during shooting was infectious. As for Dipannita, she is mature and strong, just as the character she plays in the film. On the other hand Aditi is very level headed and can keep her calm in the most adverse of situations. I learnt a lot about being patient from her.”

With such off screen banter between the five youngsters here, it would only be further interesting to see how they take on each other on-screen in this Maneesh Sharma film which releases this Friday.

Ranveer Singh’s Six Pack Abs In Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl

After the Khans and Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh of “Band Baaja Baaraat” fame has toned himself with six-pack abs for his next release “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl”.

The 26-year-old actor went on a strict 48-hour diet regime and stayed hungry for nearly two days to get the perfect look, according to a source from production company, Yash Raj Films.

In “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl”, Ranveer will once again be seen with his “Band Baaja Baaraat” co-star Anushka Sharma. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film will release Dec 9.

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan flaunted six-pack abs in “Om Shanti Om”, “Bodyguard” and “Ghajini” respectively.

Anushka Sharma’s Impact On Ranveer Singh

Recently released Band Baaja Baraat of the famous Yash Raj brand was not only entertaining in its content, but also paved the way for a vibrant on screen compatibility. The on screen amalgam established between Ranvir and Anushka seems to hold great promises for the future.

The lively film which introduced the tall and lanky Ranveer Singh appears to have enchanted the audience with its refreshing touches in screenplay and acting. His gelling with the relatively experienced Anushka especially in the scenes depicting the bus journey has cast a magical spell on audience.

In promotionals preceding and succeeding the release of BBB, the debutant was all praise for his co actor. Acknowledging the popularity and acclaim struck by their on screen pairing, Ranvir lauded the actress’s talent and generosity. While there is little to deny her talent, one wonders what could have attributed the tag of generosity to the chirpy Anushka.
