Though actress Priyanka Chopra is an A-Lister in Bollywood, it looks like she has been running into major problems with either her male co-stars or their wives! Priyanka Chopra is suddenly facing a tough time. Is someone trying very hard to sabotage her image or is Priyanka guilty of gambling with her own career?

It was recently reported that Priyanka was not invited for her own movie AGNEEPATH’s success party, organized by the Roshans. It is said that her proximity to SRK was the cause for Suzanne, who is BFF to Gauri Khan, for not inviting the actress. It is also said that Shahid’s relationship with Priyanka soured because of her ‘friendship’ with SRK. Zoom investigated further, that Twinkle Khanna too, stopped hubby Akshay from signing any movies with Priyanka, after a ‘link up’ rumour.

Apparently, Priyanka is already in Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan’s bad books; SaifAli Khan will not work with her because Kareena doesn’t like her. All she has now is the ‘Mamu – Bhanja’ – Aamir and Imran Khan jodi left, but question is kya voh Priyanka ke ‘Hero’ banna chahenge? 

Piggy Chops Sizzles At Berlinale

Priyanka Chopra walked the red carpet at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival’s premiere of DON 2 all by herself sans a male escort to match her ‘leading lady status’. She was in a translucent sari strewn with zardozi trinkets and a border to match, providing the winter-struck Berliners a warm glimpse of her well-chiseled physical assets. She also wore a wide smile, signed autographs, and performed all her duties with as much enthusiasm she could muster in her awkward circumstances. What she could not hide was the fact she was ill at ease and a bit out of place and lonely.

No lead actress of a film would have felt so ignored at a red carpet event ever. She was almost being shunned and shunted, for whatever reasons. She was not even seen in the post-screening party of the film that was briefly attended by Shahrukh Khan. The only occasion she was seen with her hero was when she went on stage after the film’s screening. She rarely moved her legs when the King made others perform some signature DON 2 moves. SRK did not even insist on her doing so.

The absence of Shahrukh Khan at the DON 2 press conference had turned it into a non-event thus denying Priyanka a chance to share the Berlin limelight with the badshah of Bollywood. Berlin does not seem to suit our Ms. World. Last year her film 7 KHOON MAAF was in the Berlinale panorama. She could not make it to the screening that time reportedly because she was not asked by Vishal Bhardwaj to join him. Bhardwaj made a brief appearance during the screening and disappeared. The media largely ignored the film’s screening then.

Akshay Is Ready To Work With Priyanka Chopra Again

It seems that finally all’s well between Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. Putting an end to reports about a rift between them, the latter said he is okay about working with the actress again.

‘I have no qualms in working with Priyanka again,’ said Akshay while promoting his forthcoming movie ‘Desi Boyz’ on the reality show ‘Star ya Rockstar’.

The duo teamed up for the first time in 2003 release ‘Andaaz’ and later featured together in ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ and ‘Aitraaz’. Despite being a hit jodi, they stopped signing films together after rumours of a link-up started doing the rounds.

Problems Over Priyanka Chopra’s Stunt Scenes In Don 2

Seductive actress Priyanka Chopra’s Don 2: The Chase Continues stunt double Bibi, a girl from Berlin, passed away on Monday due to unknown reasons. Priyanka, and her co-star, Shah Rukh Khan paid their condolences on Twitter.

“It’s shocking how unpredictable life can be. Bibi, mystunt double from Don 2 passed away. Taught me all I did in the film,” Priyanka posted on her Twitter page.

“RIP Bibi… here’s a prayer for her and courage her family…from all of us on Don 2,” added the 28-year-old, who is said to have some heavy duty action sequences in the movie.
Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Don 2′ stunt double dies

Shah Rukh, who plays the main lead, wrote: “A prayerfrom all in Don 2 for our friend & stunt girl Bibi…who left us for a better place. Lov u (sic).”

However, both the actors did’t say what was the reason behind Bibi’s death.

Don 2: The Chase Continues, directed by Farhan Akhtar, is the sequel to the 2006 film, Don: The Chase Begins Again, which itself is a remake of the 1978 film Don.

The film is set for release in December 2011.

Priyanka Chopra’s Attachment To The Social Networking Sites

With over a million followers on Twitter, and over two million on Facebook, Bollywood’s social-networking queen Priyanka Chopra says she feels loved and that these platforms not just bring her a step closer to her fans, but also helps her in getting direct feedback.
“Social-networking is a great way to stay in touch with what’s happening in the world, to understand what people are thinking, discussing, doing etc. It’s also a great way to get real feedback about my work,” Priyanka told IANS.
The 28-year-old former beauty queen is quite a hit on the web, and says it’s a “great feeling”.
“I feel very loved. I don’t see it as some sort of feat that has been achieved… it’s not about the numbers for me, it’s about connecting with people from all over the globe, from all walks of life. I like to interact on these platforms and I’m just glad that I have such a large circle of people that I can connect with on a regular basis… with no one in between,” she said.

Hrithik & Priyanka Escape Accidents While Shooting For Agneepath Remake

An aarti scene found Agneepath stars Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra playing with fire quite literally. While Duggu suffered minor burns shooting the scene, PC escaped unscathed but her lehenga caught fire and had to be change.
This is HR’s second accident on the sets of the Karan Johar production. He hurt his hand while breaking a coconut in an earlier scene. His accidents have proved lucky for his films in the past. We wonder if it will bring luck to this one too.
A source recounts what happened: “Hrithik was shooting the Ganapati puja scene. He was holding a big thali with several lit diyas (lamps) and doing the aarti. During one rotation, one diya toppled over, spilling hot oil on his hand, scalding it.
No one was any wiser for it until Duggu rushed to apply ice on the affected area. When the crew understood, the shoot was immediately stopped. It wasn’t a serious injury but Hrithik was in pain. He resumed shooting as soon as his pain subsided. He then joked about his injuries being lucky charms for his films.”

Shahid Kapoor Is Still Trying To Convince Priyanka Chopra

The most unlucky couple Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have had the most complicated relationship in Bollywood and they continue to make people wonder if they are still together or not.

Buzz has it that Shahid kept pouring her mobile inbox with “Miss you” and “Let’s work it out” text messages ever since PC returned to Mumbai from her ‘Don 2’ shoot in Malaysia. Moreover, he is being a real charmer by sending her flowers too.

A source close to the couple, “Their constant fights and arguments led to the break up. She didn`t want to be in town during his birthday. That`s why she planned her US holiday around the same time. Hence she travelled with friends who didn`t have any connection to the industry. After that she took off for Malaysia to join the Don 2 unit. It was important for her to take a clean break from her guy.”

It seems that Shahid has to work out hard and harder, if he wants his lady love back in life.

In this day and age when superstars are known to throw tantrums for the smallest of things, Priyanka Chopra did otherwise. The actress was to reach a press conference organized by the NGO ‘Pearl Wave’ when all of a sudden her car’s tyre gave way.
The poor organizers readily arranged for a car to pick her up from where she was stranded mid-way but Piggy Chops refused their offer and preferred to hop onto a rickshaw instead. Braving the Mumbai traffic, Priyanka reached the venue bang on time in the auto-rickshaw much to everyone’s amusement.
Must say, here is one actress who indeed knows how to stick to her commitment even if it means taking the road less travelled.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan bagged the best actor award for the movie “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” while Priyanka Chopra was adjudged best actress for “Kaminey” at the fifth Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards here Friday evening.

A.R. Murugadoss bagged the best director and best screenplay awards for “Ghajini“, which was also adjudged best film.

The Chevrolet Heartbeat of the Nation Award (Male) was bagged byShahid Kapoor for “Kaminey” andDeepika Padukone (Female) for “Love Aaj Kal“.

The other special award, Guinness World Record for the Most Public Appearances to Promote a Film went to Abhishek Bachchan. He travelled to seven cities in 12 hours to promote “Delhi-6″.

For one, the stakes for the heist are much higher. The situations, fights and adventures are all different - and so are the characters.”

However, sources state that the two divas are very much a part of the project. Confirming a news daily the filmmaker duo said, “There are a lot of changes in the script. But in spirit our ‘The Italian Job’ will remain the same. So far, we’ve not locked in the entire cast. But we’re definitely in serious talks with all the names (Katrina, Priyanka) you’ve mentioned. It’s a very big project and we need to get the biggest names in place before we start.”

Priyanka Chopra Is Injured Again

The bombshell Priyanka Chopra seems to have a tendency to fall in trouble every time. The actress, who has been making rounds in and out of the hospital, met with a minor accident on the sets of her upcoming film ‘Anjaana Anjaani’. The actress, who is nursing a foot injury, has been advised complete bed rest for over a week.
Though the actress has sustained no serious injuries, sources maintain that she has been advised not to step her foot out of her room. Talking about the accident a source told a daily, “It was a minor accident and thankfully, with no major injuries to Priyanka. In Bangkok, Priyanka was required to do a scene in the ocean, where she unknowingly stepped on a pointed rock. As a result, she lost her grip and ended up getting bruised on her foot.”
“Director Siddharth Anand and the crew ran to her rescue, but luckily, nothing major had happened. The shoot wasn`t stalled. Priyanka just applied an ointment and was back on her feet for the shot. Ranbir Kapoor, reportedly, was not required for the scene and so wasn`t present. Priyanka is currently shooting in Pattaya, Thailand with the rest of the cast and crew,” the source added.

The chocolate hero is melting a lot these days. The latest heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor has locked his lips with Priyanka Chopra in the upcoming movie Anjaana Anjaani. The kissing scene for the Siddharth Anand directed movie was recently shot during the its Bangkok schedule. Although Ranbir and Priyanka are pairing for the first time their on-screen chemistry is amazing. A source on the sets reveals that the two star interacted and partied together before the scene was shot. Both of them also did lot of readings for their romantic scenes.

She is happy though that KAMINEY didn't just manage to fetch her good recognition but also quite a few nominations. "Yes, for KAMINEY, I can see my name in nominations for year end awards. It does feel good", she says. But wouldn't she have preferred that for WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE? After all that was the film where she enjoyed an author backed part by playing as many as 12 characters. Her being a central protagonist in the film deserved her a few nominations at least, isn't it?

"One can't be thinking too much about such matters actually", reflects Priyanka, "Majority of award functions anyways go for popularity votes so it makes sense when KAMINEY comes on the forefront because it did well at the box office."

She goes on to add that even though she had a relatively smaller part to play in KAMINEY, it wasn't any less difficult to do. "KAMINEY was a difficult film for me to do as an actor. Getting the language and mannerisms right was a challenge in itself. I also had to adapt myself to the entire middle class surrounding and the Maharashtrian culture. It was in a completely different space from what I had done in my earlier two releases - FASHION and DOSTANA", she explains.

Hrithik Roshan declared Sexiest man & Priyanka Chopra the Sexiest woman Alive in India -- 2008 has been a year for the record books. We all have our favourite pick of the lot, but on the eve of 2009, After Hours decided to take a look at the year that’s ending and conduct a poll to find out which of the sensuous sirens and hot hunks left a sizzling trail in our minds, earning their rightful position as the sexiest man and woman alive in India this year.

Superstars Hrithik Roshan & Priyanka Chopra come out tops in a special poll on the sexiest man & woman alive in India this year. For this daunting task, we decided to take the help of some experts and picked a panel of five men and five women, all renowned in their fields.

Our panel of women included Monikangana Dutta (a model par excellence in hot demand on international ramps), Shilpa Gupta (the Mumbai-based artist known for her versatility in expression), Mehr Jessia (former supermodel who currently runs a modelling agency), Preity Zinta (the feisty queen of Bollywood) and Sunidhi Chauhan (the voice of the stars).
