The Dabangg star Salman Khanwasn’t able to attend the wedding of Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, but the actor has planned something sweet for the newlyweds. It’s heard that the actor has gifted a surprise honeymoon package to Ritesh-Genelia.

May be Salman Khan, who is in Cuba shooting for Kabir Khan’s filmEk Tha Tiger, came to know that the couple hasn’t gone for honeymoon and are stuck with the promotions of Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. What could be a better gift for Ritesh-Genelia as they haven’t planned a honeymoon yet?

For now, the cute couple is going places for the promotion of their film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya which will release on February 24. Talks are also on with Genelia to work in the Masti sequel opposite her husband Ritesh. Director Indra Kumar and producer Ashok Thakeria are very keen to star this cute couple in the sequel.

Coming to Salman Khan, since the actor is tied up shooting for Ek Tha Tiger, he will visit Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza as soon as he returns to India.

Hrithik Roshan Leaves Shahrukh & Salman Behind

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has emerged as the sexiest Asian Man in the World of the year 2011. According to a survey conducted by the Eastern Eye Weekly, Hrithik, 37, beat off tough competition fromhigh profile stars to top the 50-strong list. The popular A-list actor won by the biggest ever margin in the history of the men’s list to topple last year’s winner Ranbir Kapoor, who finished sixth.

Hrithik, who came third, last year, got votes from all over the world from fans of different ages and cultures via social networking sites.

Described by many as a Greek God, Hrithik went back to winning ways in 2011 playing the lead role in mega-hit movie ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA and also had his wax statue added to the Madame Tussauds museum in London.

‘He also shot for the hotly anticipated AGNEEPATH remake, featured as a judge on hit TV show ‘Just Dance’ and signed up for hotly anticipated superhero moviesequel KRRISH 2,’ the weekly said.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor was the surprise runner up, with Shah Rukh Khan in the third and Salman Khan in the fourth position.

”Hrithik is a worthy winner and a leading man with global appeal. This year there was a massive gap between Hrithik and the rest of the competitors. He is the perfect ambassador for India and someone who could take on anyone in Hollywood in terms of looks, talent and likability,” said a showbiz editor.

Indian batsman Virat Kohli at 18, was the highest new entry in the 2011 list. Other big named new entries included Abhishek Bachchan at 17, Prateik Babbar at 20, Ajay Devgn at 29 and Farhan Akhtar at 34. The highest placed Pakistani was once again Ali Zafar at 5, the highest placed British star was Jay Sean (9) and the highest placed sportsman was World Boxing championAamir Khan (10).

Other notable names in the list are John Abraham (7), Akshay Kumar (9), Arjun Rampal (11), actor Imran Khan (12), Saif Ali Khan (13), Atif Aslam (16), Riz Ahmed (21), Siddhartha Mallya (31), Mahendra Dhoni (33), Aamir Khan (35), Zaheer Khan (39) and hip hop star Shizzio (46).

Salman Khan To Assist Katrina Kaif In Dhoom 3

Katrina Kaif is unquestionably a multi tasker. She is currently shooting for Yashraj’s Ek Tha Tiger. But, that’s not it. The actress is concurrently working on her look for Dhoom 3 too. And you know who is guiding her this time? It’s none other than our very own Salman Bhai.

Katrina Kaif is the hotness factor in Dhoom 3 and so, the actress has to work really hard in order to live up to everyone’s hope. A rumor also has it that Kats will be donning a bikini in the movie, however, that is not yet confirmed. But, Kats will undeniably be showing off her hot body in the movie.

“She may or may not be wearing a bikini, but she will need to look her toned best, as the franchise is high on the ultra-glam looks of the actors as well,” the source is quoted as saying by a magazine.

Salman Khan Will Be Back On Bigg Boss 5

Before his return, the actor will make a stop at Dubai to announce acelebrity cricket tournament. Salman Khan who has been missing from the Mumbai scene for a while is slated to be back in the city on November 13.

The actor has been out of the country since August for his film shoots and medical treatment. He had made two very short trips to Mumbai in September end and just before Diwali for the shoot of his reality show which he co-hosts with Sanjay Dutt.

Says a source, “Salman is slated to arrive in Mumbai on November 13. He will be then back anchoring the show. But just before he returns from Turkey where he was shooting for his film Ek Tha Tiger, he will make his way to Dubai.”

On November 12, Sallu will be in the desert emirate to announce the CelebrityCricket League matches that will be held in Sharjah in mid-January. His Dabangg co-star Sonakshi Sinha as well as Sohail Khan, Suniel Shetty and Shreya Saran will join him for the event.

The CCL has film folk from across the country participating and it includes names from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali cinema besides Bollywood. The stars associated with it include Telugu heavyweight Venkatesh, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Tamil hearthrob Suriya, Kannada hero Sudeep and Bengali cinema’s Indraneil.

Director Priyadarshan besides Boney Kapoor and Sridevi are also associated with the tournament.
Sallu’s brother Sohail is the owner of the Mumbai Heroes CCL team.

Dabangg 2 Is Not What Salman Is Working On

Caught between brother Arbaaz and Sohail, Salman Khan finally decided to go ahead with latter’s film ‘Sher Khan’ ahead over Arbaaz’s much awaited ‘Dabangg 2’.
Apparently, Salman was caught in a dilemma for he had to choose one of his filmmaker brothers. The actor was slated to work with Arbaaz on ‘Dabangg 2’ and Sohail on ‘Sher Khan’. However, Salman could accommodate only one of the two flicks in 2011.
After much thought, Salman gave a green signal to Sohail`s jungle adventure ‘Sher Khan’. As a result, Arbaaz`s ‘Dabangg 2’ has been shelved till June 2012.
Talking to a daily, when enquired about Salman’s decision, a source said, “Right now Salman has to start shooting for YRF`s film, which will be directed by Kabir Khan. His schedule is currently choc-a-bloc. ‘Sher Khan’ has developed very well in terms of the script and so he is very excited to play the lead character.”
Given the fact that Arbaaz’s ‘Dabangg’ was a super duper hit, many people in the industry are surprised by Salman’s pick. However, a source close to the actor said, “Well, that`s the schedule for now.”

Salman Khan Replaces Choreographer To Reshoot A Song

Just like buddy Aamir, Salman has also become a perfectionist of sorts. Buzz has it that the magnanimous superstar was not happy with a song that he shot for ‘Ready’. After watching the rushes of the song in question, he ordered to re-shoot the entire number.

The song ‘Pyaar Ke Naam Pe Doosre Karen Toh Raasleela Hai, Main Karoon Toh Character Dheela Hai’, that features Salman was choreographed by Raju Khan. Apparently it was Khan who insisted on having Raju as the dance instructor for the song. But when he saw the output, he was hell bent on shooting it all over again and with some other choreographer on board.

Talking to a daily, a source close to the film says, “The film Ready has worked out very well. Everybody from the cast and crew is extremely happy with it. And when you see everything after the shoot is over, there is always scope for improvement. After ‘Dabangg’, ‘Ready’ should be a case of sone pe suhaga.”

Salman Khan’s Bodyguard - First Look

Salman Khan, one of the biggest stars in India, is not big on the other religion of Indians, cricket. However, he sat glued to the television, during the semi final and final matches of the 2011 cricket world cup, for a very special reason.

Salman, who returns to the big screens this Eid, in the remake of a southern super hit film Bodyguard, watched the last two matches of the cricket world cup intently, as there were lots of VVIPs in the stadium, moving along with the general crowds. Salman wanted to observe how the bodyguards of these VVIPs and the SPG (Special Protection Group), a highly trained security personnel, in charge of the security for the Prime Minister and the likes of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. 

A close hand reveals, “Salman wanted to observe how they manage the VVIPs in a crowd situation, and how they move about in the crowd, and how they take care of these important people as these were the real bodyguards, and Salman wanted to make the most of the situation, by noticing them while on the job.

Salman Khan To Do A 3D Film With Shirish Kunder

Here is a great news for all you Sallu fans. Ever thought of watching Salman Khan in 3D? You just might get to experience that with the actor’s upcoming film, Kick, as director Shirish Kunder intends on using the technology.

“Yes, there is an intention to dabble with 3D in Kick. I will soon be meeting Salman to discuss the possibility of using it.
But nothing has been confirmed yet,” says Shirish.

The film, a remake of a Telugu action romance movie, will have a lot of stylised action sequences.

For the time being, Shrish is busy with his 3D project, Joker starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. According to reports, Salman was Salmanquite fascinated with the technology and rumours even suggested that he wanted to be a part of the 3D flick.

Is Salman Khan Guilty For Zarine Khan’s Flop Career ?

Zarine Khan is one lucky gal. Even after delivering a dud in her debut performance in Anil Sharma’s ‘Veer’, the actress is being offered cameos in films! And why not? When you are Salman Khan’s protégé, you are bound to go places.
If sources are to be believed, recently Salman pulled some strings, convincing director Anees Bazmee to bring Zarine on board, for a small appearance in Ready. Zarine, accompanied by actor turned producer, Arbaaz Khan, flew down to Bangkok, last week to shoot the cameo with Salman, in Pattaya.
Bazmee confirmed to a leading daily, “It’s a small scene. We needed Arbaaz and Zarine. Salman’s equation with them made it easy for us to get them to agree to do the scene.”
A source said, “Salman felt Zarine is being left behind for no fault of hers.
Salman somehow feels responsible for Zarine’s career not taking off. He is trying to get her into his new projects.”

Hrithik & Salman Come Face To Face At Sohail Khan’s Party

When Hrithik Roshan arrived at Sohail Khan’s pre-birthday party, his new rival Salman Khan who recently spoke bad about his film ‘Guzaarish’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali was also there. Everyone expected some fireworks but nothing of that sort happened. When Hrithik spotted Salman, both of them exchanged pleasantries.
Says a source close to Hrithik, “He reacted emotionally, then felt bad later. In retrospect, he felt that he should’ve called Khan personally and told him that he’d been hurt by his statements, instead of expressing it in print.”
Not only Hrithik but his father Rakesh Roshan also spoke with Salman’s father Salim Khan and things were quite normal and pleasant between them.  When Duggu informs that he was hurt by his comment and reacted immediately, Salman said, ‘It’s ok, bro.”
A source present at the party said: “Duggu and Salman met each other cordially. Though they didn’t exchange anything more than a hello, it was like nothing was wrong between them. The vibes were comfortable, not hostile. While Duggu was seen socialising with his friends, Salman stuck to his group and his bodyguard Sheru in a corner.”

Salman Khan Is Trying To Save His Money

Salman Khan is fast learning the ways of the world. The rebel in him is getting tamed by the day. Even when it comes to dealing with issues like money, Salman is far ahead of his competitors now.
It must be recalled that Salman at one point of time used to be reckless with his money. A grave concern for his family and friends. But all this has changed over the years now.
Adds our source, “Salman is no longer the reckless man that he was known to be. There was a time when Salman would be hardly concerned with his earnings and his savings, but in the last few years there is an immense and perceptible change in him. Now, Salman has become penny wise. He is not sparing anyone who messes with his money. Be that about his fee hike or his pending cheques. Salman is making sure that he is wise with his money unlike before.”
Now that the rebel has finally aligned himself to the worldly ways, let’s hope Sallu’s penny wise attitude is here to stay.

Here Comes Aryan Khan - King Khan Junior

Our sources have it that son Aryan is all set to work with his superstar father Shah Rukh Khan. The filmdom is flooded with celebrity children following the footsteps of their parents and carrying forward their legacy. Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor etc are already ruling the industry. And the latest kid in town, Aryan, who made his big screen debut in Karan Johar`s ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, seems to be working towards taking up the mantle of his father.

According to reports, a leading filmmaker has approached Shah Rukh Khan and requested him to let his son Aryan act in his movie. The movie is about the relationship of father-son duo. Shah Rukh would play the father trying to deal with the ordeals faced by his teenaged son.
The film would show gender gap and the differing perspective of the father and the son. Shah Rukh has yet to respond to the filmmaker’s suggestion.

Salman Khan Settles For Kangana Instead Of Katrina

Salman Khan will soon be seen in action opposite Kangna Ranaut in his maiden production, to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. It seems that the year 2010 has been extremely favourable for Kangna as she has got a lot of films in her kitty. She is paired opposite Ajay Devgn in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, has just signed Sanjay Dutt production’s ‘Rascals’ and is all set to act opposite Salman Khan.
Talking to a news daily, a well placed source confirmed that Salman will be playing lead opposite Kangna in a Mahesh Manjrekar film. However, instead of casting Katrina Kaif, Salman has finally settled for Kangna.
Speaking about Salman’s preference for Kangna, the source said, “Salman and Manjrekar wanted someone who could emote very strongly and look glamorous too.”
Meanwhile, when contacted Mahesh Manjrekar, the director confirmed the reports and said, “The film will have a lot of elements. It will be a hard-hitting film with its fair share of comedy,”

Sangeeta Bijlani’s Relationship With Salman

In case you don’t know, Sangeeta Bijlani, ex and old girlfriend to Salman Khan has found herself questioning her marriage after her cricketing husband Mohammed Azharuddin has allegedly been frolicking in an extra marital affair. The ex-actress found herself vacating her house with her husband and moving back to Mumbai after the news broke. However, no one has a clue where Sangeeta has been residing. To everyone’s surprise, the best person to ask would be Salman Khan.
Apparently, Sangeeta has maintained a good relationship with Salman and his family even after their break up many years ago. “Not only did Sangeeta attend the music launch of Hello starring Salman, but also his birthday party at his farmhouse in Panvel last year. Azharuddin did not attend that celebration. She also attended Salman Khan’s Being Human fashion show in Mumbai. Thereafter, she has visited Salman’s house, irrespective of whether he was present or absent. Even if Salman is not home, Sangeeta has always been comfortable in his house. She has a very good relationship with Salman’s parents, Salim and Salma Khan, and is exceptionally close to his sisters, Alvira and Arpita,” claimed a close source to the family.

Salman Khan is known for guiding and helping his actresses when is comes to films and career. Interestingly, the actor’s has found a new muse in the form of his ‘Veer’ co star Zarine Khan.
After motivating and guiding her to loose weight, it seems Salman is also helping her to take steps carefully up the Bollywood career. It can be recalled that Zarine accompanied Salman Khan for Aamir Khan’s Bollywood bash for Argentina musician Gustavo Sanataolla. Recently, Zarine also performed with Salman at IIFA.

Salman Khan To Appear On “Dance India Dance”

Its back to the television again. The handsome hunk Salman Khan will soon be marking his presence on Zee TV’s ‘Dance India Dance’, a reality show on dance. He is the first celebrity to be invited on the show so far.

Our reliable source from the sets informs, “As nowadays Salman is busy promoting his movie Veer and thus, will be getting his audience acquainted with his upcoming release through DID on national television channel Zee TV.

“The shooting process for the same is scheduled for next week. This episode is expected to be aired on Jan 22. The whole team ofc are looking forward to welcome Salman,” signs off the source.

Salman Khan Rides The Bike - Zip Zap Zoom !

Salman Khan everytime comes out with something unexpected. We heard that while shooting in London for Veer, Salman hitchhiked a ride to reach his shoot. Apparently, the actor was staying 15 minutes from the location of the shoot, and on one unfortunate bad-traffic day, Salman was held up for over 45 minutes on the road.

It was crucial to reach the location on time, because they were losing the morning light, so Salman, as always, had a roundabout solution to the problem — but it worked. Our sources revealed that Sallu requested a biker for a ride, and the guy sweetly obliged. However, when the biker started riding slowly, Sallu made another plea. He asked if he could take over and ride the bike instead.

Well, after that he zipped, zapped, and zoomed on the two wheeler… all the way to the shoot. The biker was amazed, and when they reached the shoot he realised that he was in the company of our superstar. After that Sallu invited the guy on the sets, and he was so stunned by the entire experience that he hung around all day with Sallu. Well, the next time you see a gorgeous biker riding alongside, you never know… it could be our Khan man!

Salman Khan - What A Stunt !

Salman Khan suits the title of Veer perfectly as the star performed a life threatening scene not once, but twice, all for the sake of his upcoming film.
Reveals a production source, “A robbery scene required Salman to run on the top of a moving train. He did not use a stunt double, nor was he afraid. This stunt was a dangerous one, as one slip and he would have hit the ground and could have been pulled under the train with the speed it was moving in!”
“Salman Khan wanted another retake as he felt he could do it better,” confirms the source.
And in all this intensity Salman managed to keep spot on to his humor and in true Salman Khan style while the train would pull in reverse without a care in the world, Salman, we hear would lie down on the train until it was time for another take. Salman Khan surely is the real life Veer!

Salman Khan Giving More Importance To Asin Than Katrina

We all know that after LONDON DREAMS, Asin and Salman Khan’s chemistry has been under the public scanner. Now, after their much talked about bonding during the shoot of the film, the latest buzz is that the equation between the two has progressed to the next level.
According to the reliable sources, “Salman and Asin have hit it big on the personal front. Both the actors have become thick friends post the shoot of LONDON DREAMS. Now, Salman seems to be taking more interest in Asin than Katrina and it seems the new friendship between the two is growing by the day.”
Though, earlier it was reported that Ajay Devgan is Asin’s good friend, but now it seems the actress has the backing of the muscular Khan as far as her personal life is concerned. Well, for the moment Katrina surely has a new competitor to deal with.

Aamir & Salman Khan - The Bonding Between Them

It sounds like a big surprise but Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have been bonding like thick buddies. Who can forget Salman’s personal ode to Ghajini when he painted Aamir’s portraits (in the Ghajini look) ahead of the film’s release last year.
