Pawan Kalyan gave up Reliance Offer!

Unlike B-town stars, T-town superstars are reluctant to tie up with corporate houses and sign binding contracts with them. It is reliably learnt that hotshot Pawan Kalyan has vetoed a proposal from Reliance Entertainment to join hands for his upcoming film Shadow. Theproduction company R.K. Media, which had tied up with Warner Bros for their film Anagana Oka Dheerudu, had thought of teaming up with the Bollywood corporate house — but their plans went awry.

“The Telugu production house had discussions with executives from Reliance and arrived at an agreement in principle, but gave up the offer when Pawan Kalyan decided against it,” says a source.

Except for Mahesh Babu and Vishnu Manchu, most of the T-town stars are wary about working with corporate honchos; but still, corporate houses are in no mood to give up and keep tapping the doors of star-studded houses.

Asin’s excited to act in Puri Jagannath Film!

Puri Jagannath hit the bull's eye with his first Bollywood film Bbuddah ... Hoga Terra Baap and the filmmaker is already keen on making his second. 

The buzz is that Puri's next Bollywood venture will be the remake of his Telugu hit Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi. The film starred Asin, marking her debut in Telugu cinema and also got her the Filmfare Best Actress Award. 

Interestingly, Puri wants to cast Asin in the Hindi remake too. Sources have it that the filmmaker and actress have already spoken about the project and Asin has shown interest in being a part of the film. "Asin is very excited about teaming up once again with her mentor Puri Jagannath. She shares a great bond with the filmmaker and therefore, she'll surly get ready to star in the film." 

Though Asin is gung ho about the project, she is yet to sign the dotted line. Asin and Puri have also worked together in Shivamani, which also starred Nagarjuna and was a huge hit.

Kajal Aggarwal - The ‘Singham’ Beauty Fooled At The Sets

Most talked about southern beauty Kajal Aggarwal who is making her debut opposite Ajay Devgn in the much anticipated SINGHAM directed by Rohit Shetty is generating a lotbuzz in B-town already.

The actress who was spotted by the talented director for her brilliant performances in several hit movies down south was kicked and at the same time nervous to work with the Rohit-Ajay duo that she considers adream team. And to her hard luck, Rohit and Ajay saw this slight nervousness as an opportunity of a prank and took the help of their Assistant Directors on the sets to do just that.

Now it so happened that on one particular day, the ADs were enacting a scene in which Kajal was supposed to do along with Ajay. When they handed over the script to Kajal she felt something was fishy as the dialogues seemed a little weird to her at first. However, trusting the assistants and Rohit she went ahead and started rehearsing the scene.

It was her introductory shot and she was supposed to yell Ajoba and run towardsher on screen grand-dad. But Rohit asked her to yell Ajoba Badminton before running. Though skeptical, she did it anyway, only to realize that the unit had burst out laughing and Rohit and Ajay together had pulled a fast one on her.

Nonetheless, it helped the pretty actress to break the ice and get comfortable to working with the entire unit eventually. 

Ram Charan-Genelia’s new film launched in grand style

Ram Charan Teja’s new film with Genelia under ‘Bommarillu’ Bhaskar’s direction was launched today morning in Hyderabad. The launch took place in Novotel, Hyderabad and quite a few industry bigwigs graced the occasion. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Victory Venkatesh, D.Ramanaidu, senior director K.Raghavendra Rao, Dasari Narayana Rao, Nagababu, Allu Arjun, Allu Aravind, Allu Sirish, Rana and few other prominent celebrities participated in this event along with the film’s unit members. This is Ram Charan Teja’s third film, right after “Magadheera”. Nagababu is producing this film under Anjana Productions Banner. Charan’s earlier films, “Chirutha” and “Magadheera” were a big hit with the masses. On the other hand, Bhaskar whose name is synonymous with sensitive and sensible stories like “Bommarillu” and “Parugu” is all set to give a new dimension to Charan’s filmography. This film is going to be a romantic entertainer. Majority of the film will be shot in locations across US and Australia. Haris Jayraj is composing the music.

Deepika in "Karthik calling Karthik"

The hero made director Farhan Akthar, recently known in "Rock on" film was doing a movie named "Karthik calling Karthik" which would be a romantic suspense thriller. Here Deepika is playing opposite to him. Deepika says that the whole film is taken in a different passion and the role of her is memorable. They are planning to release the movie February 12th.
