After creating a stir with her hot item numbers Sheila Ki Jawani and Bodyguard, Katrina Kaif is all set for another sizzling performance. This time she will be seen as Chikni Chameli in Karan Johar’s Agneepath.

Karan Johar lately tweeted, “Katrina Kaif is doing a full on item song in Agneepath….its a total swinging number called Chikni Chameli….we shoot it in a week!!” Katrina is definitely a great choice for the item number. The much awaited Agneepath will grab more eyeballs with the item song.

Item numbers have become the hottest trend in Bollywood. Even the best crop of Bollywood actresses doesn’t mind doing item numbers now. Hrithik Speaks On Katrina

Greek god Hrithik Roshan seems to be quite impressed with Katrina Kaif’s team spirit and feels her unselfishness has made her so successful in filmdom, while the actress praises him describing him as a “phenomenal” actor.

“I had not seen any of her films until I had started working with her in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It just happened that I had not been able to see her films,” Hrithik told.

“I was absolutely delighted to work with her. She is a team player, she is not a selfish actor. I like to work with people who give themselves to work, towards the entirety of same goal, that’s what she is, that’s how she is. That’s what has got her so far. What I have seen of her and what people have seen of her on screen is not even 10 percent of what she is capable of,” he added.

The actor’s film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is releasing on July 15, along with co-stars Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina and Kalki Koechlin.

Katrina couldn’t stop raving about Hrithik either.

“Thank you for saying that you have not seen any of my films. I didn’t know that. I have seen his films and have always been a huge fans of his work, he’s a phenomenal actor and I was really excited to have got a chance to work with him,” she said.

Priyadarshan’s DE DANA DAN has taken a good start in India with gross collections of 7 crores on its opening day.
Confirming the news, producer Ratan Jain said, “The film is doing fantastic all over and going by the trend in collections, today is better than Friday and Sunday looks terrific as well. First day gross collections of 7 crores means we are easily headed for a bountiful first week total of around 40 crores.”
While positive reports around good collections from Indian market are continuing to trickle in for DE DANA DAN, the latest is that the film has taken a terrific opening in overseas market as well. In the process, it has surpassed the biggest of films in recent times. Friday collections from UK are out and the numbers clearly indicate that the film is en route to be a good success there.
Continues Jain, “Not just in UK, even in Dubai the film has already made 15 lac Dirhams on Thursday and Friday. The film is a very good success for us.”
