Hrithik Roshan - A New Singer Is Born In The Superstar

The director of the film Kites, Anurag asked Hrithik Roshan to lend his own vocals to a song in English for a particular song situation. Hrithik refused initially however, when Anurag told him that the song situation would look more genuine if he did his own playback Hrithik agreed. Though, that was just the Beginning. Hrithik was nervous and had to do lot of preparations. “When we came up with this song Anurag suggested that Hrithik and Barbara should sing it. I wasn’t sure whether Hrithik would agree even though he is a good singer. When Hrithik heard the song he immediately agreed and started rehearsing, but Barbara was not available so we found a singer Suzanne to sing the song. Barbara heard the song later and loved it. Suzanne came back to the recording studio when Barbara was around and in Barbara’s presence, Suzanne did the Spanish portions again so that she got the pronunciations perfect.” producer Rakesh Roshan added. 

Hrithik Roshan started recording his song at midnight and finished by 4 am. “When Duggu does something new he always put his best foot forward. All of us at home are very proud of him, because he has done such a commendable job.” As recalled by proud dad Rakesh Roshan. 
Hrithik too personalized the story and said, “I was forced to sing. My uncle Rajesh Roshan (the music director of Kites) came up with this tune and Anurag had this ridiculous notion that I could sing. Anurag’s logic was — here’s a guy who can act and dance well. And, since he knew that I have some knowledge of music, he just felt that I could sing my own song as well.” Anurag says, “Having Hrithik sing is the bonus feature.” 

Hrithik Roshan then actually learned from the basics “I started early in the morning with my sa re ga ma pa dha ni sa. Right from the time I woke up, even when brushing my teeth, while taking a shower I would keep singing sa re ga ma and would raise my hands to reach the highest scale and lowest note. My niece had learned the piano and she had a little Casio player, which I then borrowed. I finally got myself a professional trainer Suzanne who did the female portions in the song. When the actual recording was to be done, I got them to switch off all the lights in the studio because I wasn’t being able to get my best out. Only when the whole studio was blacked out did every note fall perfectly into place. Actually we first made the scratch and I thought I would record a final track again. But everyone just loved the scratch and they did not allow me to improvise on it.” Hrithik added.

Shilpa Shetty - The Celebrity Judge Of IPL Rockstar

Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s appointed meetings with reality shows continues as she will be celeb judge on Colors show IPL Rockstar. IPL Rockstar required a star connected to the Indian Premier League and so Shilpa was signed on. Shetty will rate the contestants for their star presence and the ability to shine as a true Rockstar. Sukhwinder Singh and Kailash Kher are the other judges on the show. As claimed by sources associated with the show.

Stakeholders in the Rajasthan Royals IPL team Shilpa Shetty and her hubby Raj Kundra are facing a miserable time in IPL. Their team is currently second last on the table. Interestingly, ever since the couple joined the IPL since last year, Rajasthan Royals’ fortunes declined as they finished sixth in the 8-team competition other than losing their title.

There’s Nothing Special Between Shahrukh & Katrina

The sizzling actress Katrina Kaif is astonished at some of the extrapolations being made over a simple meet-and-greet with Shah Rukh Khan. “Just because you meet and greet someone doesn’t mean there has to be speculation on what’s going on,” she says, “There’s nothing to be made out of my meeting with Shah Rukh. He’s just an acquaintance.”
Katrina is becoming increasingly frustrated with the media trying to drum up negative stories suggesting conflict between her and other actors. Struggling to recover from an appendix operation, she fears all the negativity is harming her health. “Actors, who invest a lot of time and energy, will never put down each other,” she explains, “Every one of us has their own space in the industry. These stories are either publicity mechanisms or someone just writes them to create a controversy.”
Katrina will be joined by Ranbir Kapoor on a tour of Indian cities in April to promote their movie Raajneeti. They will be joined by populist politician Rahul Gandhi who will focus on the role that youth can play in politics. “We’ve chosen eight cities and as many colleges,” says producer Prakash Jha,”Yes, Ranbir and Katrina would be part of debates on politics and youth as part of the whole endeavour to take Raajneeti beyond the portals of entertainment. Today’s political icon is no longer a 70-something veteran politician. It’s Rahul Gandhi and my stars will be addressing generations who understand the language of Rahul’s politics.”

Q: Please tell us about your character in ‘Hum Tum Aur Ghost’?
Dia: My character in the film is very special. I am playing a high profile fashion editor named ‘Gehna’. She is a very practical woman and she is madly in love with Armaan – that’s the character played by Arshaad Warsi in the film. ‘Gehna’ has all the shades of a woman – she is jealous, naughty, adorable and giving. She is blindly in love and ready to make compromises for her lover.

“The film is targeted at kids and young adults and hence it was imperative that we bring on enough funny moments that would keep them engaged. For that, we worked a lot on Jackie’s character and one such quality about this character is that she carries her own spacecraft wherever she travels. It does come in handy for her and while her friends on Earth, most notably Riteish Deshmukh, are quite baffled by how she makes it possible, it is this nice little trick that she has up her sleeves that makes it really work for her”, explains Milap.

Shahrukh Khan Has Become Serious - Why ?

Ranbir Kapoor Leaves Hrithik & Shahrukh Behind

Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who has replaced superstar Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador of Pepsi and actor Hritik Roshan in ITC’s John Players, feels obliged to get the opportunity to take forward their legacy.
‘As far as replacement is concern, Shah Rukh Khan is a legend and his contribution to Pepsi was immense. I am taking forward his legacy. As far as John Players is concerned, Hritik Roshan is a style icon for whom I have immense respect. I believe that I am fortunate enough to get a chance to take his legacy forward,’ Ranbir told reporters after the logo launch of John Players at ITC Hotel here today.
Ranbir maintains that comfort should be the primary criteria while choosing clothes. ‘It’s not about wearing expensive or brands. It’s something that makes you feel comfortable. There are no strict rules. It’s about what you want to wear and how you carry it,’ said Ranbir.  ‘I am not brand conscious at all. I don’t understand fashion. God has been very kind to me that I could sign up with this brand and I hope my knowledge on fashion increases,’ said Ranbir.  As most actors do, Ranbir would try to endorse this brand in his films as well.
