Writer-director Rensil d’Silva isn’t going to forget the previous Saturday night in a hurry. An ad shoot with Shah Rukh Khan for a men’s innerwear brand that was meant to take three days to complete got done in one night.A source present at Tulip Star Hotel in Juhu where the shoot took place said, “Rensil needed Shah Rukh for three days, but the actor, who is busy with the post-production of Ra. 1 took one look at Rensil’s script and said, ‘We’ll complete it on Saturday night’. The ad was action-packed and had to be shot in different locations.
It was completed in one night. ” When contacted, d’Silva said he was still in a daze. “I have shot ads with every other star in Bollywood, but this was an experience of a lifetime. His energy level are at their highest at night. ”
“The ad has a lot of action with stunts and speeding cars. Shah Rukh just breezed through it. I am editing the material now and will present it to my clients in a fortnight, ” he added.
