Hrithik Roshan’s 3 Shades In Krrish 3

Hrithik Roshan will play three characters in Krrish 3 — the father, son and grandson. And if he had his way, Roshan would have played villain too. But his father, director Rakesh Roshan, was keen that Vivek Oberoi play the bad guy. Sources say the duo had massive arguments over the matter. Speaking on the casting, Rakesh Roshan said, “It was not possible for Hrithik to play the antagonist. He is already playing three roles. I had Vivek in mind for the part right from the start. He has the right physique and body language for it.”
“Suresh (Vivek Oberoi’s father) and I have been friends for years. I wanted to work with Vivek for a long time. When the role of the antagonist in Krrish 3 came up, I instinctively knew Vivek was right for it.” The producer-director laughs off any suggestion that Oberoi would have to work on his physique for the part. “Both Hrithik and Vivek have the perfect physique. There is nothing more they can do to better it. They just need to start shooting.”
Krrish 3 will hit the floor in November and Rakesh will start location hunting soon. “Most of the film will be shot in Mumbai,” he clarified. Will Krrish 3 have the same special effects as the previous film, given that Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One — touted to be the film to watch out for — is releasing?  “We are not really anxious about the special-effects in other films. We are just happy to be doing what is right for our film. If there are three cars that must be blown up, we won’t blow up six just because it looks better.”

‘Ragini MMS’ Is Pick Of The Week

Share

Just as two Fridays back, bunched releases, this time RAGINI MMS, SHAGIRD, STANLEY KA DABBA and LOVE U MR. KALAKAAR! have managed to ruin each other’s party.
However, it is Balaji’s RAGINI MMS which has expectedly taken the lead, though the 20-25 percent start is nothing to write home about. The film did show a marked improvement towards the latter shows as the occupancies increased to 35-40 percent. Amongst the other releases it was Rajshri’s LOVE U…MR. KALAKAAR which followed next but once again with dull collections. It must be added here that LOVE U…MR. KALAKKAR is doing quite decently at the single screens. The other two releases, STANLEY KA DABBA and SHAGIRD, have managed to get attention but only at select cinemas of Mumbai city and suburbs.
Trade predicts that from the four above mentioned releases it will be RAGINI MMS which will emerge as a clear success while LOVE U…MR. KALAKAAR may be a slow starrer but will appeal to the single screens, more so in the North, East and Central India.
Meanwhile Vikram Bhatt’s Mahakshay starrer, HAUNTED 3D has already emerged as a success netting close to 14.75 crores in its opening week and is expected to improve its position further, especially from the 3D version.

The 28-year-old former beauty queen is quite a hit on the web, and says it’s a “great feeling”.

I like to interact on these platforms and I’m just glad that I have such a large circle of people that I can connect with on a regular basis… with no one in between,” she said.

Dabangg 2 Is Not What Salman Is Working On

Share

Caught between brother Arbaaz and Sohail, Salman Khan finally decided to go ahead with latter’s film ‘Sher Khan’ ahead over Arbaaz’s much awaited ‘Dabangg 2’.
Apparently, Salman was caught in a dilemma for he had to choose one of his filmmaker brothers. The actor was slated to work with Arbaaz on ‘Dabangg 2’ and Sohail on ‘Sher Khan’. However, Salman could accommodate only one of the two flicks in 2011.
After much thought, Salman gave a green signal to Sohail`s jungle adventure ‘Sher Khan’. As a result, Arbaaz`s ‘Dabangg 2’ has been shelved till June 2012.
Talking to a daily, when enquired about Salman’s decision, a source said, “Right now Salman has to start shooting for YRF`s film, which will be directed by Kabir Khan. His schedule is currently choc-a-bloc. ‘Sher Khan’ has developed very well in terms of the script and so he is very excited to play the lead character.”
Given the fact that Arbaaz’s ‘Dabangg’ was a super duper hit, many people in the industry are surprised by Salman’s pick. However, a source close to the actor said, “Well, that`s the schedule for now.”
