Salman Khan, one of the biggest stars in India, is not big on the other religion of Indians, cricket. However, he sat glued to the television, during the semi final and final matches of the 2011 cricket world cup, for a very special reason.
Salman, who returns to the big screens this Eid, in the remake of a southern super hit film Bodyguard, watched the last two matches of the cricket world cup intently, as there were lots of VVIPs in the stadium, moving along with the general crowds. Salman wanted to observe how the bodyguards of these VVIPs and the SPG (Special Protection Group), a highly trained security personnel, in charge of the security for the Prime Minister and the likes of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
A close hand reveals, “Salman wanted to observe how they manage the VVIPs in a crowd situation, and how they move about in the crowd, and how they take care of these important people as these were the real bodyguards, and Salman wanted to make the most of the situation, by noticing them while on the job.
