michael Jackson Died from Lethal Levels of Propofol
ShareMichael Jackson had lethal levels of Propofol in his system when he died, this according to a search warrant affidavit filed in Houston.

Dr. Conrad Murray told cops he had been treating Jackson for 6 weeks for insomnia -- giving him 50 milligrams of Propofol every night through an IV.
Murray told cops he feared Jackson was getting addicted so he reduced the dosage to 25 mg.
The morning Jackson died, Dr. Murray gave Jackson valium at 1:30 AM. Murray said the valium didn't work so he gave the singer an IV injection of lorazepam -- an anti-anxiety drug. Murray told cops Jackson was still awake, so he then gave him midazolam -- a sedative.
Murray gave Jackson more drugs. He says at 10:40 AM, he administered 25 mg of Propofol. Dr. Murray told cops Jackson repeatedly demanded the drug.
As we first reported, cops found 8 bottles of Propofol in Jackson's house after he died, but they do not know where it was purchased.
Cops also found Valium, Tamsulosin, Lorazepam, Temazepam, Clonazepam, Trazodone and Tizanidine, along with the Propofol.
The various drugs were prescribed by Dr. Murray, Dr. Arnold Klein and Dr. Allan Metzger.
Dr. Murray reportedly told cops 10 minutes after administering Propofol ... he "left Jackson's side to go to the restroom and relieve himself. Murray stated he was out of the room for about 2 minutes maximum. Upon his return, Murray noticed that Jackson was no longer breathing."
Dr. Murray says he began CPR and at some point ran downstairs and asked the chef to send up Prince Jackson, the eldest son, then Murray continued performing CPR.
Dr. Murray says he noticed that Jackson wasn't breathing at around 11 AM. He was then on the cell phone for 47 minutes with 3 separate calls, from 11:18 to 12:05. The 911 call came in at 12:21 PM .... a much longer delay than originally reported.
Dr. Murray told cops other docs had administered Propofol to Jackson, including Las Vegas Dr. David Adams. Dr. Murray said he was at a cosmetologist's office where Dr. Adams gave Jackson Propofol.
Interestingly, according to the warrant, Dr. Murray refused to sign the death certificate at the UCLA Medical Center.
UPDATE: If Dr. Murray is charged with a crime, there's a statement in the affidavit that could be evidence of a consciousness of guilt. The document also states both "UCLA doctors and L.A. Fire Dept. paramedics stated that Dr. Murray had only disclosed that he had given the medication Lorazepam [Ativan] to Jackson prior to his medical emergency." Dr. Murray did not disclose that he had given Jackson Propofol.

Michael Jackson, King of Pop, has died after being rushed to hospital
ShareMichael Jackson, the iconic King of Pop music, has died after being rushed to a Los Angeles hospital in cardiac arrest, according to a report on the Los Angeles Times website.
The Los Angeles Times cited city and law enforcement sources in saying Jackson was dead. Los Angeles Fire Department Capt. Steve Ruda said Jackson, 50, was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home, the report said.
Jackson was taken to UCLA Medical Center while the paramedics performed CPR, Ruda said.
L. Londell McMillan, a lawyer for Jackson, did not have any information. Messages left for other Jackson associates were not immediately returned.

News of Michael Jackson's death overloads Google, causes temporary error
Jackson's death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music's premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.
His 1982 album "Thriller" -- which included the blockbuster hits "Beat It," ''Billie Jean" and "Thriller" -- remains the biggest-selling album of all time, with more than 26 million copies.
He was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves and his high-pitched voice punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove, tight, military-style jacket and aviator sunglasses were trademarks second only to his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance.
By some measures, he ranked alongside Elvis Presley and the Beatles as the biggest pop sensations of all time. In fact, he united two of music's biggest names when he was briefly married to Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie.
As years went by, he became an increasingly freakish figure -- a middle-aged man-child weirdly out of touch with grownup life. His skin became lighter, his nose narrower, and he spoke in a breathy, girlish voice. He surrounded himself with children at his Neverland ranch, often wore a germ mask while traveling and kept a pet chimpanzee named Bubbles as one of his closest companions.
Michael Jackson's death prompts reflection on historic music career
ShareMichael Jackson, the once triumphant, then disgraced King of Pop, died today at the age of 50, after suffering a heart attack.
When the world first heard Michael Jackson, it heard a voice so confident and commanding it seemed impossible that it was coming from a boy.
Years later, the world marveled at how childish a grown man could be.
His was a life of the highest highs, including Motown Era glory with his family group the Jackson 5, and the release of an album, "Thriller," as captivating as any that came before or after.
His was a life of the lowest lows, including accusations of child abuse, an obsession with plastic surgery that ultimately left him looking inhuman, and the squandering of a once-daunting fortune.
John Landis, who directed Jackson in the iconic "Thriller" video described the singer as "an extraordinary talent and a truly great international star."
"I was lucky enough to know and work with Michael Jackson in his prime," Landis said, in a statement via his attorney. "He had a troubled and complicated life and despite his gifts, remains a tragic figure. My wife Deborah and I will always have great affection for him."
At the time of his death, he was planning a comeback via a series of shows in London's O2 Arena. His 50 shows there were sold out.
"We've lost a giant," said Jersey-based concert promoter John Scher, who produced three Jackson family "Victory Tour" concerts at Giants Stadium in 1984, as well as other Jackson concerts. "He was really part of the fabric of modern American pop. And we all saw him grow up in front of our eyes: It's rare that you see a child actor or, in this case, a child performer, grow up and then take the enormous leap he took, when he went solo."
Scher said that he, like many in the music industry, never got to know Jackson personally.
"It was always very secretive, whenever you dealt with him," says Scher. "You couldn't get anywhere near Michael Jackson or, to a large degree, any of his family, any of the inner sanctum."
Throughout the music industry, those who knew Jackson expressed sadness at the news.
"I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news," the music producer Quincy Jones said in a statement read by MSNBC. Mr. Jones said Mr. Jackson "had it all -- talent, grace, professionalism and dedication." Mr. Jones said added, "I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him.""The entire Apollo family is saddened to learn of Michael Jackson's untimely passing," said Jonelle Procope, President & CEO, The Apollo Theater Foundation, Inc. "Michael first performed at the Apollo in 1969 with his brothers when he was only nine years old, winning Amateur Night, and catapulting their career as the Jackson 5. We will always remember Michael in our hearts as a true Apollo legend, known for his professionalism and grace. Our sympathy goes out to his entire family. He will be deeply missed.
