The Katrina Factor In Akshay’s Career

It is said that ‘Behind every successful man there’s a woman’. Looks like the same holds true for our superstar Akshay Kumar. However in his case, it’s his co-star Katrina Kaif, who time and again is proving to be lucky for him and this time literally!
Akshay was seeing a continuous back-to-back failure in the form of four films CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA, 8 X 10 TASVEER, KAMBAKKHT ISHQ (average hit) and last one being the disastrous BLUE. And whilst if one notices, Katrina was part of none of these films. Though she was seen in BLUE, but again it was just a minuscule friendly appearance and that too not opposite Akshay Kumar.
Katrina and Akshay were last seen together in 2008’s blockbuster film SINGH IS KINNG. Post that Akshay went on to star in many big banner films and tried his luck with other leading ladies of Bollywood. But to his (mis)fortune none clicked. Now after a gap of more than a year the duo once again came together in Priyadarshan’s mad-cap comedy DE DANA DAN.
