Salman Khan will soon be seen in action opposite Kangna Ranaut in his maiden production, to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. It seems that the year 2010 has been extremely favourable for Kangna as she has got a lot of films in her kitty. She is paired opposite Ajay Devgn in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, has just signed Sanjay Dutt production’s ‘Rascals’ and is all set to act opposite Salman Khan.Talking to a news daily, a well placed source confirmed that Salman will be playing lead opposite Kangna in a Mahesh Manjrekar film. However, instead of casting Katrina Kaif, Salman has finally settled for Kangna.
Speaking about Salman’s preference for Kangna, the source said, “Salman and Manjrekar wanted someone who could emote very strongly and look glamorous too.”
Meanwhile, when contacted Mahesh Manjrekar, the director confirmed the reports and said, “The film will have a lot of elements. It will be a hard-hitting film with its fair share of comedy,”
